Ending the year with a good book!

Starting a NEW YEAR :: 2012 reading journal.

Before the new year ends I am finishing this wonderful story Cutting for Stone. A book recommended by an author I reached out to a few weeks ago and asked was was our favorite 2011 Non-Fiction/Fiction book of the year. I'm on page 325 of 667 of Cutting for Stone: WOW - picked up the book on a recommendation - was trying to get past the beginning then WHAM I can't stop turning the pages. I felt like I was watching the whole seen and AMAZED by each persons reactions. got more to go but so far I will recommend it.

Cutting for Stone

Marion and Shiva Stone are twin brothers born of a secret union between a beautiful Indian nun and a brash British surgeon. Orphaned by their mother’s death and their father’s disappearance, bound together by a preternatural connection and a shared fascination with medicine, the twins come of age as Ethiopia hovers on the brink of revolution.

Moving from Addis Ababa to New York City and back again, Cutting for Stone is an unforgettable story of love and betrayal, medicine and ordinary miracles—and two brothers whose fates are forever intertwined.

Much love,

Jennifer
